Thank you for always visiting and using Yuka-AN
Our main staff member,Atsuko, is pregnant, and it is no longer possible for her to continue the “Japanese
Confectionery Making Experience” and “Matcha Tea Ceremony” that she is in charge of.
In particular, the “Japanese Confectionery Making Experience,” which was scheduled to start in June as announced on our website, has reached its limit, and Atsuko has been hospitalized with gestational diabetes, so we will be suspending it from today (May 21st).
The “Matcha Tea Ceremony” will be held with atea ceremony instructor, but due to the instructor’s schedule, it cannot be held every business day.
Reservations are required, and the tea ceremony will be held after confirming the instructor’s schedule.
Visitors who come without a reservation will not be able to observe the tea ceremony .
However, we offer a “Kagetate”(without a formal tea ceremony) at any time, where you can choose an antique tea bowl and fresh Japanese Confectionery for 1,500 yen (tax included).
The following are dates when the tea ceremony instructor will be available, and reservation are accepted even before pregnancy is confirmed.
Please inquire about availability and times, especially if you are seated with other customers.
The tea ceremony instructor is generally unavailable on Fridays.
